Rev. Rickey M. Thomas II, M.T.S. is a Christ Follower, Family Man, Pastor, and Kingdompreneur, dedicating his life to equipping others and advancing the Kingdom of God. As the visionary Lead Pastor and Founder of Freedom Worship, Pastor Rickey is driven by a mission to ensure that every person in Oklahoma City develops a relationship with Jesus Christ and realizes their full potential.

Pastor Rickey’s pastoral philosophy is rooted in Ephesians 4:12, "equip God's people to do His work and build up the church, the body of Christ." He has served both local and national non-profits and churches in Nashville, TN, and Oklahoma City, OK. His notable tenure at The Fountain Church in Miami Gardens, FL, saw him rise from a young adult ministry intern to Executive Pastor, showcasing his leadership and dedication to ministry.

 

In 2016, Pastor Rickey graduated as valedictorian from Florida Memorial University (FMU), a historic Black university, with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Philosophy. His pursuit of theological excellence continued at Vanderbilt University Divinity School, where he earned a Master of Theological Studies, deepening his commitment to scholarly and spiritual growth.

 

A devoted family man, Rev. Rickey is married to Brittany Carter-Thomas, Esq., the Founder and Executive Director of Freedom City, Inc. Together, they are proud parents to Nathan, Koda, and Afia, fostering a home grounded in faith and service.

 

As a Kingdompreneur, Pastor Rickey merges entrepreneurship with a Kingdom focus, launching businesses that not only generate profit but also further the mission of advancing the Kingdom of God. His entrepreneurial ventures are designed to help individuals overcome socioeconomic barriers, reflecting his commitment to uplifting the entire community.
