Come expecting a worship experience that feels like home and still pushes you forward. In about 75 minutes, we'll worship through gospel and contemporary gospel music in a modern, welcoming environment; you'll hear the kind of preaching the Black church is known for ––strong, biblical, practical, and celebratory––addressing what you're going through and helping you grow spiritually.
We honor tradition so every generation feels at home, but we're a church for today––rooted faith with a forward vision.

Your kids won't just be watched––they'll be engaged, loved, and learning. Freedom Kids is available for Nursery through 5th Grade and includes fun, age-appropriate activities like art projects, games, and video lessons that teach kids about Jesus. Kids learn how to pray, grow in faith, and have a genuinely fun time in space built for them.
For middle and high school students, NextGen is where students build real friendships that go beyond "church friends" while growing as disciples of Jesus Christ.
Freedom Kids and NextGen begin at 10:15AM.

From the moment you arrive, you'll be greeted at the entrances and helped find your way. You won't be singled out or asked to come to the front. After service, stop by the Welcome Home Station in the rear of the sanctuary to grab a gift––our way of saying thanks for visiting.

OUR VISIONARY LEADER
Meet Our
Pastor
Rev. Rickey M. Thomas II, M.T.S. is the Lead Pastor & Founder of Freedom Worship and Chancellor & Founder of Vanguard Academy. A Christ-follower, family man, and Kingdompreneur, he’s passionate about helping people across the Oklahoma City metro grow in Jesus and step into their God-given potential. His ministry is rooted in Ephesians 4:12—equipping God’s people to do His work and build up the Church.
Pastor Rickey has served in churches and nonprofits locally and nationally, including a season at The Fountain Church where he progressed from young adult ministry intern to Executive Pastor.
He earned his Master of Theological Studies from Vanderbilt University Divinity School, graduated valedictorian from Florida Memorial University, and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry at United Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Brittany Carter-Thomas, Esq., are proud parents to Nathan, Koda, and Afia.
