We envision every person in Oklahoma City will have a relationship with Jesus Christ and will reach their potential.

MEET RICKEY & BRITTANY

Rickey and Brittany have given their lives to loving and helping people reach their God-given potential. For the last five years Rickey and Brittany have served local and national nonprofits in Nashville and Atlanta, and served as executive pastors in Miami, FL. Their work has helped many people overcome systemic barriers and live free. They will continue their work in their hometown Oklahoma City, in a beloved area, known as the “Eastside” by starting a life-giving church called Freedom Worship.

They have already begun working with their community through a non-profit founded by Brittany called Freedom City. Freedom City currently mentors students of F.D. Moon Middle School and provides them access to extracurricular activities such as dance, art, poetry, and other art forms.

97.3% of students attending schools on the Eastside from elementary to high school failed the state math exam.

94% of students attending schools on the Eastside from elementary to high school failed the state reading exam.

37.2% of people in NE Oklahoma City live beneath the poverty line. On the Eastside alone there are 5,062 documented people who live in poverty.

OUR APPROACH

Be a church unchurched people love to attend

We strive to be a church where unchurched people enjoy their experience so much they
come back the following week with a friend.

Be a church who leads in social change

We strive to be a church that  brings about systemic social change in partnership with those who are impoverished, or racially, sexually, or otherwise discriminated against, and oppressed.  While providing life-changing community outreach
through our sister non-profit, Freedom City.

Be a church that is irresistible

We strive to be a church that demonstrates irresistible love and has irresistible environments
so that people who do not subscribe to our beliefs still want to be involved.
